Hi everyone,

My name is Daniel, I am a local student in Orlando, Fl. I recently moved with a roommate closer to college. I work with a local company providing Tech support for MP3 players and memory cards. I also attend Valencia CC, mayoring in Digital Media Video Production.

I have been paying for college out of pocket since i don't qualify for any federal aid :-( and my parents really can't help me anymore. So, now I work everyday just to get by, while managing my bills on my own like any other adult and thats ok.

I founded Black Cherry Enterprise a digital media company striving to make local digital video projects for business and individual right here in central Fl. The company is still in it's infancy looking to grow to a nationwide business within 2- 4 years. Right now we have with 4 partners, a tresurer and me (CEO).

Right now, I have some credit card debts of around $7,000.00 and looking to pay them off with in two years. I would really like to get it down to less than $4,200.00 by the end of the year. Donations are always welcome. (PayPal)

As time pass by I reallize how furtunate I am to be here but sometimes the limit amount of cash flow limits my output like right now. It would be very helpful to get this debt taken care of before it becomes an even greater weight.

Thanks for visitng my page.

Sincerely,
Daniel M.

Single Mom in Desperate Need of Help

I am a single mother of three.  We recently had to leave our home in Chicago due to a family member who lived with me and was using drug/alcohol in front of my kids.  This person would become verbally and physically abusive.  I could not get that person to leave my apartment so I took my children and what little we were able to take with us and left for Florida.  I has taken me seven months to find a job, but unfortunately that is not enough to even make a difference in all my past due debt.  I am a proud person, and have never asked anyone for help, but what I make from my job is barely enough to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table.  I am doing this more for my children than anything else.  I know that they see me depressed and worried about all my bills.  That is why I am asking for your help.  I have no family, and I don't know anyone in this city.  Please help me and my kids get on our feet.  I thank you in advance for your generosity.  God Bless You!!!

Hi folk!
I'm a student from Uruguay, a little country between Argentina and Brazil, in South America. My name is Jaime and I'm 20 years old. I need just 200 dollars to buy a computer and a printer, and make little edition jobs, in my city. Read my complete explanation at:

And I need to changes my eyeglasses too. I'm using a special crystal because my myopia (shortsightedness) is about -5,5.
I see almost well, but my current eyeglasses are 3 years old. I care it, but the frame is deteriorated. Last time I buy this eyeglasses with the  aid of a local fund for teen student. Now I'm 20 and soon I'll must to change my glasses. And if I don't use polycarbonate or similar (and expensive) I will look like Mr. Magoo.
My birthday is next May, 3rd. I wanna to begin month with a nice surprise!
If you are interested in help me, please contact me.
Thanks!

Currently living with my grandparents (my pa is dead, an mom left when i was 15), turns out my only family is leaving in 3 months time. Now, i'm stuck no where to go. No money saved. Looking for help an not getting any. All i get is " we will call u back", an no response. So what do I do? I pray an pray. i don't even concern myself with anything else but getting my life straight. i don't go out. I stay at home. I work all day long. So i can't even go to downtown to ask fo assistance, because if i miss one day "ur fired" they say. So i look on the net to find new ways, of helping me out to move up in my ways. and nothing... nothing at all....

Bio - Information about your tutor
I graduated from UC Berkeley as an Interdisciplinary Studies Field Major with a concentration in Education in May ’06. In Fall ‘06, I will begin my M.A. /Ph.D. program of education at UCSB, where I will continue studying issues regarding curriculum and instruction, educational policy, literacy acquisition, and learn how to best develop new school/university connections. I am extremely dedicated to and passionate about the field of education and it is my life-goal to help others gain the skills necessary to succeed in the classroom, gain confidence about their abilities and aspirations for the future, and to find a love in learning. In elementary and middle school, I tutored after school. In high school, I was a home-visiting tutor, where I visited my pupils’ homes and created individualized worksheets, quizzes, etc. to prepare for exams in Spanish, Chemistry, Math, English, and for the G.E.D. In college, I have tutored elementary, middle, high school, and peers at the university level.

I need a vehicle with a ramp or a lift for my power chair

Hello to all of you!

I am brand new to AidPage, but I will try my best to express my needs: here we go!

My name is Reynaldo and I have Asperger's syndrome, a form of autism.  I created a nonprofit organization, www.aspergeradvocacy.org, to advocate for those with my disorder, especially adults for whom at the time they were children no help or information was available about this disorder.  In addition to having Asperger's syndrome I have spinal stenosis, thus, limited mobility, whereby I use a power chair.  I live alone with my dog Ginger.

Recently, after many years of fighting for my Social Security benefits, I have finally received them.  The first objective that I met was to get permanent housing.  Now I live in an apartment under a section 8 housing choice voucher.  After living in Florida for over 35 years, specifically Palm Beach County, I am now living in Kershaw County, South Carolina.  I moved here because this is where they issued a voucher for me much quicker than any other housing authority to which I applied for a voucher.  This was a move I do not regret!

Instead of going on a waiting list in Florida, which would have taken many years for my name to come up, I was issued a voucher instantly in South Carolina.  Of course I had to move over here in order to use that voucher, somethign I didn't mind.  My plans are to stay in South Carolina, or anywhere where it is not too warm and not too cold.

Because of my disorder, characterized by behaviors often misunderstood and the result of adverse stimuli, I had been the target of bullying by several of my neighbors here, who themselves have disabilities ranging from bipolar disorder to mental deterioration because of age.

I did not know what to expect when I initially moved here to South Carolina.  While it is considered the sixth most dangerous states in the United States (FBI, 2006), most of the longtime residents here have raised families for many generations, and in essence are quite comfortable.  About 70% of the population here are chubby and very content with their Southern cooking and hospitality.  I have gotten to know many people here and am glad that I made the move as though I didn't really have any other choice.

The area in which I live is rural.  There's only one bus that comes through here, and it only comes twice a week, very early in the morning, and once in the evening during those days.  Because of my disability and situation, I have to depend upon a paratransit vehicle, which can be expensive as they charge more money based on the fact that I'm a wheelchair user.  I had been volunteering in a social service agency that provides energy and rental assistance to those in need.  But because of lack of transportation and more medical issues (now I'm diabetic as of December, 2007), I had to quit my volunteer position.

I believe that by having a decent vehicle I can be able to reach out to people farther to be able to assist them in their special-needs.  I therefore am wishing for a vehicle: either a minivan or a large vehicle with a power chair/scooter ramp to accomplish this.

Reynaldo

Hello!

My name is Reynaldo and I live in Charleston, South Carolina, where I've lived for almost a year.  Prior to this I lived in a rural area in South Carolina for four years, before which I lived in south Florida all my life -- my childhood years in Riviera Beach, and my adulthood in Lake Worth, both on the east coast in Palm Beach County.  I am 46, single, never married, and live alone with my small dog in my apartment.  I'm about 250 pounds, 5 foot 6 1/2 inches.

My interests include forensics, medicine, criminal justice, and legal issues; movies, television, music, and being on the computer.  I have a home theater system with 7.1 surroundsound speakers.

The apartment I live in is a modest apartment with a swimming pool, in which I live under a federal program known as the Housing Choice Voucher Program, formerly known as Section 8.  I am on SSI and SSDI, Medicare and Medicaid, literally living from paycheck to paycheck.  I also am into photography, aviation, and cooking/eating.

I'm grateful to know about this site and then it has the potential of linking people to help one another.  If there's any way I can help I will.
